I read this comic, and I paused a bit, then laughed. There is definitely dual meaning behind it, but I came to realize that if you want to get anywhere in life, you gotta be the asshole. Last place doesn't get any medals. I think thats one of the reason why I like to be in a relationship, I find it hard for me to be constantly aggressive, and unless you go for it, you'll never get anywhere.

Cry!!! Don't get me wrong, I'm happy for the Motherland, but I would have really liked if the USA could get its act together. It's just dissapointing how we are so behind in Gold and even in the medal race we're slipping. I feel like the US is predestined to always be champions, partly because we're the worlds biggest social experiment. We are the most diverse nation, hailing from people from all over. What other country do you have so many different ethnicities to represent... plus all that good stuff bout Democracy, human rights....
Not to knock our athletes though, they are trully amazing, especially Michael Phelps, congrats on number 8.
Food: Harney Sushi > Old Town
Located on Harney street, hence the name. Non traditional Japanese food, atmosphere is almost lounge. Specialty are its custom rolls, and appetizers. Definitely a good restaurant if your looking for something a bit nicer than sushi deli, but by no means is it a traditional japanese restaurant. So if your looking for sashimi I don't know, but if your looking for some amazing rolls, here you go.

I'm pumped for So Real Cru. People can hate but, SuperCrew can suck some nuts. Honestly, they aren't that exciting. So they can breakdance, they don't look good at all to me when they dance together. Individually talented, as a group, just really showy. At least So Real Cru looks fun and impressive when they dance together.
Too bad for Phanny Pack. I like how when they dance you get a story most of the time. But then again I thought Supreme Soul should be up here, that was a mistake...
Dating and Relationships - Insecurity, Cheating, Viscious Cycles, The Paradox.
Lets talk about insecurities baby, lets talk about cheating hunny... Has anyone ever noticed how certain girls are the MOST insecure and worried about there men/woman cheating on them, when the guy is perfectly loyal? I find that hilarious. I have a few friends, who's significant others are way beyond insecure. A phone call at night from a female friend, and suddenly they're cheating. Questions arise as to why you've been spending time with so and so. Suddenly they wonder, "Am I allowed to even be buds with this chick, or if I do, will my ex go ballistic?" We all know couples like this. The thing is, none of these guy friends I know would ever cheat.
See the thing about cheating is you have to be in the correct circumstances. These circumstances aren't exactly super easy to come by unless your a plaaayyya P.I.M.P Most people don't cheat when they got something good going. Most normal guys are perfectly happy with there girlfriends. They realize that even if she isn't the hottest thing on the block, shes more than perfect for him. Besides he's not exactly the most desirable, so you take what you can get. Also if your getting laid, you don't complain, since most of the times its pretty damn hard to get laid to start off with. When the going is good, stay where its at bro. So the majority of men out there will stay true.
Vicious cycle when one trouble leads to another, which aggravates the first. A girl getting on his man for shit he didn't do will only disturb the relationship. Her insecurities will grow, while his defensiveness (cuz no one likes to be accused of shit they didn't do) and eventually the relationship will take a negative turn and may end. Hence the paradox, a perfectly good relationship, sabotaged over really nothing.
It's perfectly understandable when your guy isn't meeting your insecurities, since one of the job descriptions as a bf is to meet those. Its like how a guy is suppose to work, a guy is also suppose to make the girl feel secure. But I would think a better way of dealing with your insecurities is to be open with him about it. If he can't meet them, then thats perfect grounds to break up. Dragging the relationship to the ground in fights, well.... that just sucks for the couple, and for the friends stuck outside watching.
Olympic Fever
OMFG did anyone watch Team USA 400M Freestyle Relay? Wow, what an amazing finish. I have to say, makes me proud to be an American! Jason Lezak's performance in the last 50M of the race, how he caught up with the Frenchies to win... you would have to see it to realize what a crazy finish...
A lot of my friends are cheering for their team ( Team China ). That baffles me... cuz... most of my friends are Asian AMERICAN. Team USA is still your team. Honestly I love my heritage and I'm all sorts of glad for Team China which is btw kicking Team USA's ass... but I would rather cheer on a country that more closesly represents me.... which is still the American Team.
Speaking of which, I think its freaking Awesome how my generation is sending more and more representation to the olympics. For example - Kevin Tan is from nor cal. Asian American and representing. Nicee...look at his gunz!
I'm Back! Its been quite a few months of hiatus since I blogged, but I've been caught up with way to much shit. All in all, I'm back to my blog, time to extol my thoughts. Its been quite a busy summer.

On Relationships
Dating younger girls. Is it worth it or no?
So, its pretty typical. Your freshmen year in college or sophmore year, you meet a bunch of girls your age. There was always that hottie with a body that was dating an older guy. Makes sense right? Young guy has no car, lives in dorms, has no job, doesn't know jack, can't buy alchohol. Older guy has all of the above. Skip forward a years ( in my case, more than a few) and suddenly we're on the opposite end of the spectrum.
Suddenly, we find that younger girls tend to come onto us more. We're a bit more mature, we have shit going for us, and yah, the younger ladies seem more inclined to mingle with us. For example, I noticed recently, a lot of my boys in the frat have been hanging out with the younger ladies. Not a bad thing right?
We'll what are the drawbacks? Younger girls tend not to know what they want. I think thats the biggest drawback. Like Miley Cyrus says in her song, You Love Me, but You Like Her. So I think its pretty much up in the air. If your still having fun, and your not turned off by a fling or two, then have fun. If your more into a serious relationship you gotta ask yourself, is this the place to be.
On Sports
I'm actually really pumped to watch Team USA play in the Olympics. Honestly we haven't won Gold or come 1st place in an international competition since... I don't know... 2000? Even then we barely made it, beating Lithuania I believe in the last few seconds. Its a little unsettling how quickly the rest of the world has caught up in basketball, and how we definitely are not the most dominate team hands down. However if we manage to pull this one off I think we can feel a lil more safe... So far the team looks good, Dwyane Wade tears it up below...

So yah, I think I'll be staying at Websense for awhile. I really don't mind my job anymore. At first I got bitched at a lot for fucking shit up, but now that I got my grind down I'm actually getting along well with my co-workers. I understand what the hell I'm doing now, so my production has increased a lot. We shall see... still need to motivate myself to go finish my LSAT's and take my GMAT...

On Relationships

While this isn't really true, since Guy Code doesn't really exist or if it does it means something totaly different, I would have to agree.
Okay one of my frat bro's is dating this girl that NO ONE likes. But no one really says anything to him about it. When I got dumped, a bunch of my guy friends told me how they didn't really like my ex and I was better off because of this or that, but they never mentioned anything to me while I was dating... Same goes, I know a few friends that I didn't really think it was a good match between them and there woman but I kept my mouth shut. So in some ways, I think guys really do follow that Guy Code mantra. We really sit and wait and wait and wait and when shit falls through we take them with us to Vegas and get them drunk.
Girls on the other hand. oh man... I had a friend that was dating this girl, They got into shit loads of fights and yeah maybe he wasn't the BEST BEST BEST bf but i thought he was doing okay. Her friends 24/7 hounded her to dump his ass and shit. Girls hound there friends, and give em shit if they don't like that guy. Its crazy, dating a girl, you gotta date her friends first literally to be accepted. I just think its funny, that the only person that ever told me dating my ex was a mistake was a close girl friend, and none of my guy friends ever said anything.
Does this make me, or my boys bad friends? i dont know. if this Guy Code really exists than maybe we should rethink. Then again guys are all about tough love, and sometimes i agree we feel that letting our boy blue find out the hard way is what teaches him to become meaner and stronger. I hate shopping at Coach and the gay guy tries to help you. No offense, but I'm FUCKING shopping for a girl. Wouldnt the fucking girl know better? Pissed me off I went to coach to buy gifts and the GAY guy looked at me and then looked away. YAH i look like shit, my hair isnt done and im wearing shorts flip flops and a tshirt that says *RAWR angry day* with random animals growling... *i digress* but dude i had to ask him twice to help me grab a purse from the back... and he gave me attitude.
while he was in the back this cute asian girl helped me and she was like, oh yah, i dont really like that on purses im not a bug girl or thats really cute... THANK YOU. honestly not to be a bitch, but at least she wasn't judgemental. IN the end I really would have liked it more if a girl helped me cuz I'm really shopping for a chick and not a gay guy, but whatever....
